Среди многих и ценных памятников старины Нижней Силезии особого внимания — особенно архитекторов пейзажа — заслуживает дворец в Каменьцу Зомбковицким. Этот объект был построен в XIX веке на высоком откосе, он возвышается над окружающим пейзажом своими 4 башнями. Дворец — это произведение известного тогда во всей Европе, немецкого архитектора, Кароля Фрыдерыка Шинкля. В статье представлена история стройки, характеристика Каменецкого дворца и творческая деятельность К. Ф. Шинкля в других странах.

Among the numerous and valuable monuments in Lower Silesia, the palace at Kamieniec Ząbkowicki deserves special attention of landscape architects. This object was built on a high slope in the 19th century. Its massive body and four big towers dominate the vast landscape. The palace is a splendid piece of work of an outstanding German architect, Charles Frederic Schinkel, who at that time was well-known in the whole Europe. In the article the history of the erection and the characteristics of the Kamieniec Palace are presented together with the creative activity of Ch. F. Schinkel in other countries.
