The preliminary research was carried out over 2009–2010, on 10 lily cultivars, mostly from LA division, grown in two commercial plantations located in the Puławy region. The healthiness of the folliage was examined at flowering, and of the bulbs after digging time. The disease index values of above-ground plant parts ranged from 3.25 to 82.5. The most infected cultivars were Courier, Fangio, Orange Royal and Salmon Classic. From the above-ground plant parts most frequently isolated species was Botrytis elliptica. Species Botrytis cinerea, Alternaria alternata and Fusarium oxysporum occurred less frequently on the foliar parts of lilies at flowering time. The mean disease index values of bulbs ranged from 3.5 to 14.25. The most infected cultivar was Dani Arafin. From the diseased bulbs of lilies, the greatest number of fungi isolates belonging to the genus Trichoderma and species: F. oxysporum, B. cinerea and Cylindrocarpon destructans were obtained.
