In Polish agriculture some specific features can be distinguished that do not any langer occur in the agriculture of E. U. countries. These, for instance, include peasant mentality which appears to distrust all things which can break the peasant's harmony of life in the country. Others are: low efficiency of production, overgrowth of employment and low level of education. Last but not least is the great economic, social and educational disparity of the peasant's family.
