There were compared the constructions of surgical tables with those needed for veterinary purposes. The analysis of the present constructions promoted the authors to solve that problem; they designed such a construction which makes possible to perform many surgical manipulations including those connected with veterinary obstetrics. The proposal meets all the requirements suggested by veterinarians, i.e. a versatile construction with the possibility to conduct the operations on different species of animals.
