The evaluation of soil vegetable production showed that 5195 0001 of vegetables was produced in 2001. It means less by 5,9% than in 2000. Diminution of harvest was effect of reduction by 3,1% of cultivation area and often of diminution of crops. Only area of parsley, leek and celery enlarged by 2,6%. Lower offer of vegetables was the reason of higher prices of most vegetables. In the autumn of 2001 the purchase prices in processing of onion, white cabbage, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, carrot, red beetroot and pod vegetables were higher than in 2000. On the contrary the price of cucumber, parsley and of Brussels sprouts were lower than in 2000.
