On the basis of studies conducted among 669 farmers from five communes of the Małopolska region, the author presents the attitudes of small agricultural producers towards Poland's integration with European Union planned in the nearest future. Although the respondent's opinions and attitudes towards approaching integration are mostly positive, the approval for the membership decreases along with the respondent's age. A clear relationship is visible between intensification of positive attitudes towards the integration and the farmer's education. As the level of education increases, the percentage of persons supporting the integration raises, too.
