Badania przedstawiają wpływ wzrastających dawek nawozów azotowych (60-300 kg/ha) i potasowych (100 i 200 kg/ha) na zawartość różnych form potasu w glebie. Stwierdzono wzrost zawartości oznaczonych form potasu pod wpływem wzrastających dawek potasu oraz zmniejszenie ich pod wpływem wzrastającego nawożenia azotem.

In the years 1987-1991, a field experiment with Dactylis glomerata and Bromus unioloides growing on brown acid soil was conducted. Each year, the grasses were fertilized with increasing nitrogen and potassium rates. After 5 years of study, the concentrations of potassium extracted with water, 2M HCl, and IM CH₃COONH₄ were determined. The concentrations of these potassium forms depended on the plant species and the levels of nitrogen and potassium fertilization. Increasing potassium rates enhanced the concentrations of the investigated potassium forms in the soil, whereas increasing nitrogen rates decreased them. Higher concentrations of investigated potassium forms were found following cocks foot rather than rescue grass cultivation.
