Oznaczono metodą spektrofotometrii absorpcji atomowej zawartości Pb, Cd, Zn i Cu w ziarnie pszenicy i żyta, pochodzącym z rejonu oddziaływania Huty Miedzi „ Głogów ". W większości prób zawartości tych pierwiastków stanowiły 5-75% maksymalnych dopuszczalnych wartości, obowiązujących w okresie badań.

Lead, cadmium, zinc and copper contents of wheat and rye grains collected in 1995-1997 from the emission region of the "Głogów" copper foundry were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). Lead and cadmium were determined by flame AAS using extraction with isopropyloacetne and with ammonium pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate used as the complexing agent. Zinc and copper were assayed directly in water phase. Mean lead and cadmium levels were 0.113 mg/kg and 0.035 mg/kg for wheat, and 0.193 mg/kg and 0.015 mg/kg for rye, respectively. Concentrations of the metals in the majority of the samples represented from 5% to 75% of the maximum admissible levels specified in Polish Standards for cereals. Zinc and copper levels were from 9.33 to 56.17 mg Zn/kg and from 3.22 to 7.42 mg Cu/kg.
