Risk of urothelial cell carcinoma in tobacco smokers, particularly in those exposed to some other carcinogenic agents has been analysed. The analysis comprised 131 patients treated for bladder carcinoma and 5 patients treated tor urothelial cell carcinoma at the Urology Department, Regional Hospital of Szczecin. The results point to a very high risk of urothelial carcinoma in patients exposed to three carcinogens and to the occurrence of the disease in patients below 50 years of age.
