The Polish peasant's farms, which are small, poor and organizationally dispersed will be presently forced to competition with excellently organized farms in Western Europe, supported by the European Union and by member's states. Change of expected not the best situation of the Polish farms will require the improvement of their acreage structure, setting up the family farms with additional sources of farmers' incomes and their organization first of all. The co-operative movement will play an important role, as the form proved correct during many years in many countries. In further perspective the country will not be able to accomplish essential transformations unaided and support by the state will be necessary.
