The results of study on the syntheses structure and properties of new 2-aryloxypropionates 5-(4-nitrobenzyl)isothiuronics are presented. These compounds were obtained by the reaction of sodium salts of 2-(halogenphenoxy)propionic acids with chloride S-(4-nitrobenzyl)isothiuronic. The structures of these compounds were determined by elemental analysis and infrared spectra. Some physicochemical properties were determined. Some of newly obtained compounds reveal herbicidal activity.
