W pracy przedstawiono wyniki wieloletnich badań dotyczących zmian ilościowych rozpuszczalnego manganu i żelaza w glebie w zależność od udziału zbóż w plodozmianie, deszczowania i nawożenia azotem. Wykazano, że spośród badanych czynników istotny wpływ na zawartość obu pierwiastków miały tylko plodozmiany oraz współdziałanie czynnika wodnego z azotem.

Field trials were carried out on a lessive soil since 1972 in order to evaluate the influence of crop rotation with different share of cereals, sprinkling irrigation and nitrogen fertilization on the content of soluble forms of iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) at the humic soil layer. It was found that only crop rotations have most significantly influence on the Fe and Mn contents, whereas sprinkling irrigation jointly with nitrogen fertilization, the less. Higher amounts of soluble Fe and Mn were recorded in the soil under cereal rotation. The interaction of the water factor and nitrogen contributed to a significant increase of the amount of both elements in the variant without sprinkling and nitrogen fertilization. No significant relationships between the amounts of soluble Fe and Mn versus pH were obtained despite changes in soil reaction for the particular experimental objects.
