Cel pracy: Celem pracy było oznaczenie zawartości i wzajemnych korelacji pomiędzy wybranymi składnikami mineralnymi w 56 próbkach mleka kobiecego pochodzącego z okresu do 6. miesiąca laktacji. W toku badań stwierdzono dodatnią korelację Ca zMg i P.

Aim. The aim of study was to mark the content and the mutual correlations between chosen mineral elements in 56 samples of the women's milk, which come from the period till 6th months of lactation. The population of mothers and infants, which took part in tests, was characterized somatometricly and demographicly on the basis of questionnaire filled in by mothers. Material and methods. 56 human milk samples were obtained from mothers (23-42 years of age) living in Warsaw. The content of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium were determined, after wet microwave mineralization of the samples. The phosphorus content was determined using Scheele's spectrophotometry and the content of the remaining microelements, with atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). Results. The average content of mineral elements in 56 samples of milk contained 247.9 ± 70.5 mg/L of Ca; 32.4 ± 6.8 mg/L of Mg; 155.1 ± 36.9 mg/L of P. The following average relationship of elements was marked: Ca: P - 1.6; Ca: Mg - 7.8; Mg: P - 0.22. Conclusions. The average content of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in examined samples of women’s milk, was located in a compartment described in the academic literature. Relationship Ca: P took 1.6 ± 0.5. Only in two samples of the examined women’s milk disadvantageous crossing value came to above 3:1. During the whole studies the positive correlation was noticed between Ca, Mg and P.
