Metodą zimnych par spektrometrii absorpcji atomowej (CV-AAS) zbadano zawartość rtęci ogółem w owocnikach uprawowej pieczarki dwuzarodnikowej Agaricus bisporus oraz pieczarki okazałej A. augustus i pieczarki polnej A. campes tris zebranych ze stanu dzikiego w 1989 r.

Total mercury concentration was assayed in the caps, stalks or the whole fruiting bodies of wild growing Agaricus campestris, Agaricus augustus, and unidentified specimens of Agaricus species as well as of cultivated Agaricus bisporus collected in the area of the city of Gdańsk in 1989. The method of measurement was cold vapour atomic absorption spectroscopy after wet digestion of the samples with concentrated nitric acid. Average concentrations of mercury ranged between 0.14 - 2.6 mg/kg in A. campestris, 0.40-0.60 mg/kg in A. augustus, 0.19 - 1.1 mg/kg in an unidentified specimen of Agaricus species, and 0.0025 - 0.0068 mg/kg in the cultivated A. bisporus. The results obtained were compared with those reported by other authors.
