In the paper there are described the effects of foliar application of Atonik (0.2%) on the yield and quality of motherwort herb. The experiment was performed in 2001-2004 on brown sandy-clay soil. 1-year-old plants were sprayed twice (after rooting and three weeks later); 2- and 3-year-olds three times: at rosette stage, three weeks later and after first harvest. In the experiment beneficial effects of the preparation on 1- and 2-year-old plants were stated. The effect of Atonik in the first year of vegetation resulted in the increase of air dry herb yield by 43% and in the second year by 40% (in the third year difference between compared objects was not significant). Flavonoids content varied in years and cuttings. Nevertheless positive effect of Atonik was recorded in the first and third year of vegetation.

Doświadczenie przeprowadzono w latach 2001-2004 na glebie brunatnej, piaszczysto- gliniastej. Rośliny jednoroczne opryskiwano dwukrotnie (po przyjęciu się rozsady, oraz po 3 tygodniach) zaś 2- i 3-letnie trzykrotnie: w fazie rozety liściowej, 3 tygodnie później oraz po pierwszym zbiorze. Wpływ Atoniku na plony ziela był szczególnie wysoki w pierwszym i drugim roku wege­tacji, powodował około 40% wzrost plonów. Zawartość flawonoidów podlegała dużemu zróżnicowaniu w poszczególnych latach i zbiorach. Niemniej wyraźny dodatni wpływ Atoniku na tę cechę obserwowano w pierwszym i trzecim roku wegetacji.
