Tematyka ekologiczna stała się integralną częścią procesów decyzyjnych przedsiębiorstw. Dlatego banki, dla których firmy te są oczekiwanymi partnerami, muszą uwzględniać ich zapotrzebowanie na ekologicznie zorientowane usługi finansowo-kredytowe. Usługi te muszą być odpowiednio zróżnicowane, gdyż jedne przedsiębiorstwa muszą w ochronę środowiska inwestować, stąd problem pozyskania na to kapitałów, dla innych jest to sprawa lokaty środków finansowych. Autorka jako przykład proekologicznego podejścia do procesów inwestycyjnych podaje Deutsche Bank, który opracował kompleksowy system obsługi procesów inwestycyjnych.

Environmental issues have become an integral part of decisionmaking process in enterprises. That is why banks that see such enterprises as their desirable partners must attend to demand for environmentally oriented credit financing services. The range of these services should be appropriately diversified; some enterprises have to invest in environmental projects, hence a need for financing, while for others it is a matter of investing capital assets. The author presents the Deutsche Bank which has developed a complex system for investment process service, taking it as an example of an attitude to investment processes which benefits the environment.
