Possibilities of obtainment of humus earth from the mixture of sphagnum peat and molasse brew were investigated. Time and conditions ( temperature, moisture level, pH value) were determined as well as quantitative and qualitatice changes in the population of microorganisms affecting the humification process were determined. Humus earth was obtained within 28 days. Brew affected highly stimulatingly the dynamics of microorganism numbers, what was directly connected with the humus formation rate.
