The subject of the study was reproducibility of functional quality of machine elements, those of agricultural machines in particular, due to regeneration. The design, production technology and failure processes were analysed. The principles of programming the regeneration in industrial process of products realization were elaborated as well as quantitative measures of evaluation of effectiveness, efficiency and susceptibility to regeneration. The obtained solutions point to the possibility of including the regeneration processes into one, coherent with production, cycle of creation, repeated reproduction and, in justifiable cases, reinforcement of machine elements. Despite the fact that the studies were carried out on selected examples, the methodological generalization presented in this paper can be helpful in the realization of other regeneration technic.
