A method has been developed for the assessment of the mechanical resistance of a mass of raspberry fruits to uniaxial static loading. The measure is the strain of samples of fruits in a cylinder 100 mm in diameter after 45 min of load. The mechanical strength of fruits of nine varieties was compared. The determination of the effect of such factors as temperature, ripeness, variety, duration of cold storage, and the time of harvesting on the variability of the strain was made.

Opracowano metodę oceny odporności mechanicznej owoców maliny w masie na statyczne jednoosiowe obciążenie. Miarą jest odkształcenie względne próbki owoców w cylindrze o średnicy 100 mm po czasie 45 min. Badania pozwoliły na porównanie odporności mechanicznej owoców 9 odmian malin oraz określenie udziału takich czynników jak: temperatura, dojrzałość, pochodzenie odmianowe, czas przechowywania chłodniczego i terminu zbioru w kształtowaniu zmienności wyznaczonego parametru mechanicznego.
