'Goats rue' [Galega orientalis Lam.] a plant with multi-directional possibilities of use for agriculture. Part III. The influence of the infection of Galega orientalis seeds on the content of trace elements

Between the years 1994-1998, a two-factor field experiment was carried out at the experimental station belonging to the Academy of Podlasie in Siedlce. The impact of the infection mean of G. orientalis Lam. seeds (variety Gale) by the bacteria Rhizobium galegae and the blue green algae Nostoc on the concentration of trace elements in its biomass was studied. The statistical analyses of results have shown a significant influence of the infection of the seeds (with the exception of the concentration of cobalt in the stems) and the year of experiment on the concentration of those elements. The amounts of Fe, B, Mn, Mo, Li, Co, Cu, Zn, Cr, Ni, Cd and Pb determined ranged in limited values in animal fodder.
