Porównując aktywność enzymów hydrolitycznych w komórkach wyhodowanych z artrospor G. candidum poddanych działaniu temperatury -25°C z aktywnością enzymatyczną komórek szczepów hodowanych 48h w +25°C, stwierdzono obniżenie aktywności fosfatazy zasadowej, esterazy, lipazy esterazowej, ß-glukozydazy, arylamidazy walinowej i cystynowej proporcjonalne do czasu przechowywania artrospor w ujemnej temperaturze. Natomiast zaobserwowano istotny wzrost aktywności naftolu-AS-Bl-fosfohydrolazy w komórkach wyhodowanych z artrospor przetrzymywanych 72 h w -25°C. Wpływ niskiej temperatury przez okres 24 h - 90 dni nie zmienił aktywności fosfatazy kwaśnej i arylamidazy leucynowej w przepasażowanych komórkach.

The effect of -25°C temperature on the survival and activity of 30 strains of Geotrichum candidum Link arthrospores hydrolases were examined. The spores suspension in 0,85% NaCl was frozen at -25°C and stored at that temperature for 24 h - 90 days. It was found that the longer the period of storing, the higher the lethality. However, the lethality rarely reaches 100%. While comparing the activity of hydrolytic enzymes in the cells cultured from G. candidum arthrospores exposed to -25°C temperature to the enzymatic activity of the celles of strains cultured 48 h at +25°C temperature, the decrease of alkaline phosphatase, esterase, esterase lipase, ß-glucosidase, valine and cystine arylamidase proportional to the period of arthrospores storing in low temperature was found. Significant increase of naphthol-AS-BI- phosphohydrolase activity in the cells cultured from the arthrospores stored 72 h at -25°C temperature was observed. The influence of low temperature during the period of 24 h - 90 days did not change acid phosphatase and leucine arylamidase activity in the passaged cells.
