In the years 1994-1995 results of pasture on after boggy soil reseeding with two seeders for direct sowing of seeds to the old sward (groove and slot seder) were registered on the background of hand reseeding after rototiller cultivation and also control without reseeding. Competitiveness of old sward was reduced by Roundup in a dose of 6 1/ha. Yields from the reseeded treatments were significantly higher than from the control. Mixture of white clover with perennial ryegrass, reseeded with groove seeder, yielded the best. Differences between other reseeded treatments were insignificant. Distinct rebuilding of species composition was noted under reseeded object independently on composition of used seed mixture. Reseeded clover-grass mixtures were more competitive to the old sward herbage than only white clover.
