Two species of Tineidae: Monopis weaverella (Scott) and Niditinea piercella (Bent.), and three species of Tortricidae: Aethes margarotana (Dup.), Lobesia abscisana (Doubl.) and Foveifera hastana (Hbn.) are new to the Polish fauna. For another tortricid moth - Cydia oxytropidis (Mart.) - first reliable record from Poland is given. M. weaverella (Scott) was reared from pellets of Bubo bubo (L.) and Asio otus (L.), while N. piercella (Bent.) from nests of Sturnus vulgaris L. and Parus major L.
