Rinderpest - the first infectious animal disease eradicated in the world. Size-based transmission of aggregates creates phenotypic diversity within a prion population. Prions are an unususal from of epigenetics. Origins of prions. Prion-like behaviour of amyloid-β. Limiting chronic pulmonary neutrophilic inflammation by leukotriene A4 hydrolase. Cigarette smoke selectively inhibits this activity. Danger signals guide neutrophils to the sites of sterile inflammation. Self-reneval of mature Treg is a major mechanism of their maintenance in vivo. Sublineage of CD8⁺Treg is esential regulatory element of the immune response and a guarantor of self tolerance. Suppression of antitumor immunity by stromal cells expressing fibroblast activation protein-α.
