New records of 21 rare in Poland and interesting beetle species, representing 12 families, are presented. All records are based on material found in Beskid Sądecki Mts., a small range in the Western Carpathians. Among the species under discussion the most interesting are: Gabrius astutus (ERICHS.) (Staphylinidae), Ampedus tristis (L.) (Elateridae), Pediacus dermestoides (FABR.) (Cucujidae), Phalacrus championi GUILLB., Ph. substriatus GYLL. (Phalacridae), and Chaetocnema tibialis (ILLIG.) (Chrysomelidae) – species known from fewer than 10 localities in Poland.
