Validation of decision support system NegFry in forecasting of late blight appearance on tomato

The study was conducted on data collected on tomato plantations localized in Poznań in 2005–2009. Late blight appearance was forecasted on the basis of meteorological data registered with the use of field meteorological station. Model Validation depended on comparison of the results of computer simulation with real late blight appearance dates. Seven variants of model parameters were considered in the study. The best results were achieved when daily risk value and accumulated risk value amounted respectively to 6 and 250.
