Children in 4 children's institutions at Gdańsk and Sopot were treated with adipinian or piperazine citrate. The percentage of infestated with threadworms has fallen down from 79 to 16 as result of the cure. In the first two kindergartens new tests have been performed after 6 months. The result was almost identical with the previous state (before the cure). It seams that the fight with the parasite should have a larger range in time and space. One ought to combat oxyuriasis simultaneously in all children of school age on a larger territory.
