For the investigation 17 different soil samples were taken. It was found that soil washing by the simulated acid rain (pH = 5) caused almost 2 times higher nitrogen leaching in comparison to the soil washed by the distillated water. The amounts of the leached mineral nitrogen were significantly, positively correlated with N-NH₄ and N-NO₃ content in the soil. The negative correlation was observed between mineral nitrogen leaching and granulometric fraction (<0.02 mm), C, N especially after nitrogen addition to the soil.
