The content of gamma radionuclides in samples of honey was determined spectrometrically. The samples of honey besides ⁴⁰K and radionuclides from natural radioactive sources characterised a low activity of ¹³⁷Cs and ¹³⁴Cs. Their source is the Tschernobyl atomic power station accident. The level of these radionuclides is far below those assumed as safe in food products by the international commissions of radiological protection.
