The paper presents the evaluation of buffer capacities in related to acidity and alkalinity of light soil. Its properties have been changed as a result of long term fertilization durring 30 years. Among fertilization factors the liming was the most important factor influencing on the buffor capacities. Liming increased the resistance of soil in acid range and decreased the resistance in alkaline range. The FYM increased the resistance of soil both in acid and alkaline range. The buffer capacities were not changed by potassium, but phosphorus fertilization increased the buffer capacities in acid range. Nitrogen influenced buffer capacities opposite then liming, decreased the resistance of soil in acid range and increased in alkaline range.
