The paper presents 14 new noctuid moths locations shown during the study of the Beskid Niski Mts. and Central Beskid Foothills region. The species are present in Poland, however very rare and occur in limited areas of the country. Number of species deserve special attention: T. ni and D. flammatra, which as a migratory species appear in Poland very irregularly and have not been observed for over 40 years. Another species, A. ambusta, has been historically shown to be very rare and present on few scattered sites with no recent observations. However the current occurrence of this species in the Beskid Niski Mts. is confirmation of its presence in Poland after more than 50 years. In turn, new sites of rare species A. funesta and E. amethystina, which tend to be more numerous in the southern regions of Central Europe, indicate an increase of their range towards the north, which may be the result of climate warming.
