Decalcitation is taken place in intensively dehydrated and agriculural utilised peat soils for 150 years which sorption complex is wealthy in calcium. In their moorsh horizons the calcium decrease and the hydrogen cumulation were ascerteined. Annual calcium loss was estimated ca. 510 kg/ha. During more then 150 years of agricultural use ca 52 t/ha of calcium was leached. The process of decalcitation is promoted by the high content of calcium in exchangeable form, washing type of water balance, as well as intensive dewatering and agricultural utilisation.
