The majority of the species identified during the research are widely distributed across Poland (GIERLASIŃSKI & T ASZAKOWSKI 2013-2023). Even though a monograph on Reduviidae (GIERLASIŃSKI et al. 2019) was published in recent years, the current knowledge on the distribution of the particular species from the region of Poland is still significantly uneven. In the analysed research material, the species displaying a wide range of habitat preferences were the most numerously represented, such as Reduvius personatus (L.), Rhynocoris annulatus (L.), and Rh. iracundus (P ODA). Species with higher habitat requirements, e.g. Coranus subapterus ( DEG.), were observed considerably less frequently, whereas hygrophile and heliophobic species, e.g. Empicoris vagabundus (L.), only individually.
