The results obtained after the application of monoclonal anti-PMSG (monoklonal anti-PMSG, Intervet) after 72 h (group A) and 120 h (group B) since stimulation of ovaries in cows using PMSG are described. The activity of anti- -PMSG was monitored mainly on the basis of morfological changes noted in ovariectomised ovaries at the day 12 since the application of PMSG. In the control group К superovulations were stimulated using only PMSG. For comparative studies the level of progesterone was also enclosed. Summarizing the obtained results one can conclude that the action of anti-PMSG is evaluated positively, especially the decrease of the number of unovulated ovarial vesicles: group К 20.4 unovulated vesicles/cow of a diameter 12 mm, group A 0.7 and group В 1.7. A number of ovulations evaluated on the basis of the yellow bodies was comparable in group K and B; a mean value in one cow was 11.8 and 8.2, respectively. The use of anti-PMSG too early, after 72 h inhibited completely superovulation. The effectiveness of ovulation represented also the level of progesterone just after the appearance of the yellow body and secretion of this hormone.
