Hacquetia epipactis (Scop.) DC. of the family Apiaceae is one of the most peculiar species in the Polish flora. Outside of Pogórze Cieszyńskie and Ślądk Opolski, it is found at a few isolated sites in southern Poland. It has been protected since 2004 as a rare species. It is listed as vulnerable in the Polish Red Book of Vascular Plants. This paper presents a comparison of two insular populations of H. epipactis in Pogórze Wielickie.
