Opracowanie przedstawia wpływ podstawowych czynników, przede wszystkim kapitału na rozwój produkcji roślinnej w Polsce w latach 1950 - 1999. Na podstawie badań przedstawiono zmiany zachodzące w latach 1950 - 1990 i po transformacji w latach 1991 – 1999.

The resarches of the changes of the level of the agricultural production have been carried out during the period 1950 - 1999. The vegetable production in the country scale has been counted in milions of the corn units. Form cognitive tasks the financial indexes has been shown in prices of year 1950. The analysis showed that it is necessary to distinguish two periods: 1950 - 1990 and 1991 - 1999 because the diferent dynamics and structure of the dependences. There were the high dynamics of all the observed indexes in the first period. During the second period, in spite of the increasing of the GDP, the stagnation of the vegetable production and consumption, has been appeared and also visible decreasing of the remaining searched factors. The causes should be mainly suspected in the structure of a consumption. The next exact searches in this range are necessary.
