The further development of agribusiness in Ukraine and Poland as well as providing food safety of the country depends on the improvement of investment activities. The most crucial domains of the Ukrainian government policy should therefore aim at restructuring of the economy system, creating market economy infrastructure, applying investment policy instruments, strengthening cooperation in production processes, creating opportunities of multinational investments. The present situation of Polish economy, especially of Polish agribusiness, is characterized by the capital inflow and by the increased capital expenditure. The amount of capital invested in the development of agribusinesses is unrecognizable in the UR quality typical for individual voivodeships. The increase in expenditure does not influence the increase of basic cultivated plants - crops, potatoes, sugar beets. The cultivation processes should be carried out taking into account the soils of the best fertility class. The development of additional types of activities exceeding the scope of agribusiness activity is necessary in case of worse quality soils.
