Plastyfikatory (zmiękczacze) są jednymi z podstawowych środków pomocniczych modyfikujących właściwości fizyczne oraz przetwórcze materiałów. Do najbardziej popularnych plastyfikatorów z grupy pierwszorzędowych należą diestryl kwasu ftalowego z alkoholami o zróżnicowanej długości łańcucha od C4 do C13, a zwłaszcza następujące ftalany: ftalan bis(2-etyłoheksylu) (DEHP), ftalan diizononylu (DINP), ftalan diizodecylu (DIDP), ftalan dibutylu (DBP), ftalan diizobutyluj (DIBP), ftalan benzylobutylu (BBP). Niniejsza praca stanowi kontynuację badań prowadzonych od wielu lat w Laboratorium Badań Materiałów i Opakowań Jednostkowych w zakresie opracowania metodyla analitycznych oznaczania migracji specyficznej małocząsteczkowych substanca z materiałów opakowaniowych produktów spożywczych do płynów modelowych żywności. W badaniach migracji specyficznej plastyfikatorów jako płyn modela wy żywności wybrano Tenax TA.
Plasticizers (softeners) are one of the primary means of support modifying the physical properties and processing of materials. The most common plasticizers are the primary group of diesters of phthalic acid with alcohols of varying chain lengths from C4 to C13, in particular phthalates following: bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP). Plasticizers are included in the primary adipic acid esters such as dioctyl adipate (DOA), t>is(2-ethylhexyl) adipate (DEHA), citric acid esters such as triethyl citrate, tri-n-butylacetyl, sebacic acid esters such as dioctyl sebacate (DOS), dibutyl sebacate (DBS). The aim of this study was to develop an analytical procedure for testing migration of plasticizers from packaging materials and containers intended for contact with food products, as an example of a group of plasticizers, diesters of adipic acid. This paper is a continuation of research in the Laboratory for Packaging Materials and Consumer Packaging Testing in the development of analytical methodologies for determining small molecule specific migration of substances from packaging materials into food simulants. In this study, the specific migration of plasticizers as food simulant Tenax TA is selected. Specific migration was studied diesters of adipic acid for example, bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate - plasticizer used in the production and processing of PVC, polystyrene, and other polymers. An additional objective was to test the deuterium-labeled phthalate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phtalate- 3,4,5,6-d4 (d4-DEHP) as internal standard. Under the conditions developed studied the chromatographic analysis of mixtures of plasticisers: bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate (DEHA) and phthalates: dimethyl (DMP), diethyl (DEP), dibutyl (DBP), bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). Procedures have been developed for the quantitative analysis of selected phthalates and bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate. For the quantitative determination of bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate, external calibration method was used. In addition for phthalates was used the internal calibration method. Used as an internal standard was deuterated phthalate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phtalate-3,4,5,6-d4 (d4-DEHP) having the characteristic mass ion m/z =153. Chromatographic and mass spectrometry conditions of used methods were confirmed on sample packagings available on the market of food products.
