The study was focused on the evaluation of rapeseed meal of Jantar variety, twice improved, in broiler feeding. In experimental group, 13-15% and 19,5-22,5% of soybean meal was replaced by rapeseed meal and part or the whole portion of maize meal by wheat and barley ground grain. Supplement of 19,5% and 22,5% of rapeseed meal in the mixtures decreased body weight significantly and increased food consumption by 5,9%. In experimental birds, liver and thyroid weights increased considerably whereas gizzaro weight decreased. ALAT level was elevated and AspAT values in blood serum diminished. The possibility of adding 13% and 15% of Jantar variety rapeseed meal to mixtures fed to broiler-chickens, with partial out down of maize meal, was shown.
