Three-year experiment showed that regardless of boron and molybdenium application way (presowing-into soil or foliar), their efficiency was closely connected with a degree of soil acidity while the multiple fertilizer LS-7 showed significant yielding effect regardless of soil acidity. Liming increased boron, molybdenum and manganese contents in horse bean yield and increased these microelements utilization from fertilizer regardless of their application way.
Roots of pea cv. “Cukrowy Iłówiecki” were studied in water cultures using AlCl₃ in following doses: 0, 3, 6, 27 mg Al/dm³ medium (3-weeks course) as well as 0, 6, 27 g Al/dm³ medium (1-week course). Root length measurements were carried out in several terms. There were compared the anatomical structures of top and proximal root zones in a light microscope. The surface of a cap and epidermis were investigated in a scanning electron microscope. Aluminium doses inhibited root elongative growth proportional to the concentrations applied. Root thickness significantly increased at the highest Al levels. Deep outer tissue destructions as well as inner structure distempers like: hypertrophv and cell damage in various root regions were observed.
