The influence of security guaranteeing the sanctity of a packed food product on packaging perceiving by younger and older consumers

The aim of the research is to determine potential differences in perceiving food products packaging with the tamper evident protection by consumers belonging to two age groups (young – up to 25 years old and older ones aged over 60). The empirical research connected to perceiving protection guaranteeing sanctity of the packed product by consumers, has been conducted by the direct questionnaire interviews on the sample n = 348 of the south-east Poland inhabitants. The results of the research about the experiences and feelings concerning the securities, which guarantee the sanctity of the food products packaging can be a feedback for manufactures in the context of differentiation of the packaging aimed at different consumer age groups.

The aim of the article is to analyse the conditions of capital market in Slovak Republic from the view of its functionality as a tool providing redistribution of capital in economic system. We focused mainly on functionality of stock exchange as market and execution of individual theoretically determinate functions. We analysed functionality and execution of these functions in individual points, mainly on the basis of last year stock market statistics. In addition to the analysis, there was also our comparison with, relevant countries. The aim of the work was to point out some defects of Slovak capital market in the course of current global difficult times in financial sector and present possible perspectives.

Toxic micromycetes in grain raw material during its processing

In 2003–2005 micromycetes were isolated and identified from wheat, barley, rye, buckwheat grain brought into mills or from processing enterprises. Contamination of the produced flour with micromycete propagules (cfu g-1), changes in micromycete diversity and abundance in the course of flour storage, preparation and baking of bread, production of groats or other food products and fodder were determined. Most attention was given to widely distributed micromycetes, known producers of toxins: Alternaria alternata, Aspergillus candidus, A. clavatus, A. flavus, A. fumigatus, A. niger, A. oryzae, A. (=Eurotium) repens, Fusarium culmorum, F. equiseti, F. graminearum, F. moniliforme, F. oxysporum, F. poae, F. sporotrichioides, Penicillium brevicompactum, P. chrysogenum, P. cyclopium, P. daleae, P. expansum, P. funiculosum, P. roqueforti, P. urticae, P. verruculosum, P. viridicatum, Phoma exiqua, Rhizomucor pusillus, Rhizopus stolonifer, Trichothecium roseum. Abilities of these micromycetes to produce secondary toxic metabolites were determined as well as possible hazard caused to people consuming the contaminated products.

It has gone through an evolution from “a Military based enclave” to “Russian window onto the Baltic Sea” during the last 15 years. It faced many set-backs and problems and many of them are apparent even today. New problems and threats also appeared and those need collaboration and cooperation.
