Celem publikacji było wskazanie istoty i znaczenia stosowania metafor w zarządzaniu jakością w organizacji, zapoznanie z różnorodnością stosowanych metafor i ukazanie możliwości ich zastosowania w praktyce zarządzania. Przedstawiono istotę metafory i jej funkcje oraz wady i zalety stosowania. Dokonano analizy metafor dotyczących jakości oraz związanych z narzędziami i metodami zarządzania jakością. Na potrzeby publikacji wykorzystano metodę krytycznej analizy źródeł literaturowych.
Quality management has to consider a lot of new aspects regarding the latest trends in the field. The authors of the proposed paper will point at the interconnection of three major aspects: technical, communication and economical aspect. The authors propose, based on these aspects, a Triad of Quality. The main aim of quality management is essentially to increase effectiveness indicators in the organisation, rather than satisfying customers by certain product properties or focusing on increasing the market share. The authors propose their indicators of profitability of quality- Return on Quality, ROQ. The Triad of Quality is proposed as a new way of perceiving the economical aspects of quality. The paper will present a proposal of a system of indicators based on the communication aspect and the economical aspect of quality.
Economics of quality is a trendy area of quality management. Nobody doubts the need to monitor and evaluate the costs related to quality. However, there were significant divisions by experts in the field, which is also reflected in practice. In our contribution, therefore, deal with it rather than theoretical knowledge is converted into company practices.

Traceability in solids is difficult to ensure, as in piece goods. The batch as a whole will change constantly mixing processes by their composition and size. For traceability not only an appropriate identification system but also an approach to batch management is required. The systems supporting traceability provides a sophisticated batch concept and a batch coding persecution of lots within a single company, between customer-supplier dyads, as well as along the entire distribution chain. The introduction of a traceability systems is connected with technical and organizational effort. In the event of an inter-company implementation further agreements with suppliers and/or customers are required. Is a traceability system implemented, but it offers flexible opportunities to share quality information and thus to improve quality across the entire grain chain.
The article deals with the measurement and evaluation of quality of service through the define criteria. These criteria characterize the important areas for customer in the frame of providing of service and have a direct impact on the overall perception of quality from the view of customer. The measurement was carried out through questionnaires with 5-point Likert scale evaluation. Due to the fact that the customer is the person, who decides on the success of the enterprise on the market, based on his satisfaction, respectively dissatisfaction, the research results are important basis for management - for the decision-making process or for processes, which can improve the quality of services.
This study aims at monitoring physico-chemical features of the waters of the Hârtibaciu River in Romania with a view to establishing its qualitative benchmarks. Using the waters of this river for agricultural purposes leads to the establishment of its physical and chemical features and its falling within the related quality group. This study has monitored general chemical indicators and specific chemical indicators in the waters of the Hârtibaciu River; the resulting values show that it falls within the 2nd/3rd quality group.
