The paper studies possibilities of producing mixtures of crystallized honey and bee pollen with the help of P-10 feeder. In the research both the homogeneity and rheological properties of the mixture as well as power demand for its production were investigated. It was found that the addition of 10% of pollen mass into the mixture caused a tenfold increase of its horizontal viscosity, which doubles the power demandfor the device. The obtained product possesses high homogeneity that was determined by making use of standard deviation in the number of bee pollen grains identified on the photographs taken in the conditions of shearing interferometry. The results of the investigations clearly show that the P-10 feeder is extremely useful for the production of honey and bee pollen mixtures.
