The results of physical simulation of interaction processes of liquid flow and different components of root layer are presented. Phenomena of flow around different structures of the soil, also inclusions and the roots among others are considered. The discussion is presented in respect to opportunity of using the model systems with rather high Reynolds numbers (Re), than usually accepted in the soil hydrophysics, when real transfer processes in the root layer are under consideration. The laboratory technique of magnetohydrodynamic method of flow generation in thin open horizontal plane parallel fluid layer is given. The technique of simulating of volume and structure of the root system by applying the electric field to the carbon fiber bundle is also presented. The significant place is given to the low-known role of electric fields generated in root layers both in natural conditions and at the use of artificial electric fields in the processes of moisture transfer effected by electroosmosis and electroconvection.
