The architecture of exhibition pavilions during EXPO international fair creates a special history of representation architecture projecting the combined message about the exhibiting country and the subject of the fair. The current edition is displayed under the banner of „The Wisdom of Nature” and it is linked with the supplementing theme „See the Beauty”. The leading concept of the Polish pavilion has been derived from the symbols which, in Japan, are well recognized and easily associated with Poland: Chopin’s music and the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a unique tourist attraction.
