Types of planning activities and principles governing them as applicable in furniture industry enterprises are presented in this paper. Dependencies between individual types of planning procedures are discussed and their classification is proposed taking into consideration distinguished types of criteria. The observations made within this study will contribute to clarification of problems, investigated in the field of organisation and management methods in a furniture industry enterprise. They may also be applied when designing and implementing computer data bases, which are to support planning at different organisational levels of the enterprise.
This review discusses the problem of management of digested sludge with the use of various methods for the management, including extrusion cooking. Extrusion cooking as a method of management of digestate can be an innovative approach to this topic. Until now there have been no studies on the use of the extrusion process to convert anaerobic digestion sludge. The extrusion process plays an important role in the transformation of materials on an industrial scale. An agricultural biogas plant can produce up to several tons of digested sludge per year (depending on the size of the installation). The most common method for utilisation of this kind of material is the use thereof as a fertiliser. However, this solution requires large areas of farmland. The best methods for conversion of digested sludge are those allowing the separation of the solid part from the liquid part. One of these methods consists in obtaining pellets in the extrusion process.
This paper presents the results of studies on the influence of clear-cut site management on survival rate of 3-year-old Scots pine saplings, conducted in the Forest District Bierzwnik in September 2011. Statistical analysis showed, that only the soil cultivation method significantly influences the survival rate on the studied Scots pine plantation. No statistically significant influence of cutting residues management or combined methods of residues management and various variants of soil cultivation was found.
The studies of fallow lands were undertaken on the Przemyśl hills in the area of Cisowa locality which, till very recently, have been owned by a State Farm (PGR). The objective was to gain insight into the composition and diversification of plant communities on meadows, pastures and fields laid fallow, in context of habitat conditions prevailing after the use had ceased. The study utilised an old cadastral map showing the type of communities by category of use: meadows, pasture, and cultivated fields. The study material consisted of 180 relevés, obtained in the period 1998-2000 using the Braun-Blanquet method. By employing numerical classification, eight plant communities were distinguished, including only two of the association rank: Epilobio-Juncetum effusi, Arrhenatheretum elatioris. The analysis of Ellenberg’s habitat indices proved that all the communities belonged to the half-light vegetation group, occurring mostly on fresh soils, under intermediate moisture-content conditions, more rarely on moist soils which do not dry out. The soil reaction was most often neutral or slightly acidic, and in most of the soils the nitrogen content was in the intermediate range. The two principal trends in the succession of communities in the area, after its farming management has ceased, are: marked increase in species richness resulting from the expansion of species, and the process of overgrowing by woody vegetation.
Rural tourism is one of the main developing and profitable small and medium scaled trends of business, which stimulates to develops treasure and rational usage of local resources, cultural and historical heritage. The tangible and rapid development of rural tourism is highly commended by researches of social sciences. However, researches of rural tourism are providing in the frame of general economics and tourism content, without any description of rural peculiarities, objective and subjective development difficulties. The successful development of tourism faces to comprehensive tourism environment analysis and knowledge, assessment of qualitative and quantitative references and competitive consulting.
