The paper discusses the transport policy pursued by agribusiness enterprises. The research was conducted at S04 enterprises. Significant dependence was found between maintaining a separate register of transport costs and optimisation of transport routes and load capacity of vehicles. The enterprises surveyed mainly used their own transport or a combination of own and third party transport. Use of third party transport services only was not a frequent choice. If such services were used at all, they related mainly to transportation and less frequently to forwarding. Purchase of new vehicles in the future was planned most frequently in the dairy industry (7S%), whereas outsourcing of transport services was most frequently used in the oil industry (33%). High differentiation between particular industries was found.
The analysis of logistics costs in agricultural enterprises in process aspect was carried out in the paper. The aim of the research was to identify those process activities, in which the optimization of logistics costs can influence the realization of strategic aims of sustainable development. As a result of the research, some indexes of logistics costs for agricultural enterprises were estimated. Also, the differences among the costs, depending on the area shape and used technologies, were shown in the paper.
Background: This study focuses on the description of the activity of suppliers active in the domestic market of TSL services, with special regard to key factors of their competitive advantage as well as the scope of services provided. Methodology: The source basis consists of the results of direct studies carried out on a purposely selected group of 168 companies. TSL sector companies constituted 64% of the sample and logistics clients - 36%. The results were analysed with the use of basic descriptive statistics methods. Results: Most service providers are international entities offering a wide variety of services adjusted to the needs of diverse market segments. Their fundamental source of income is road transport and shipping. Logistics experience and complexity of service are the main characteristics of their market offer. Conclusions: Logistics operators are entities whose impact on the market economy is considerable and constantly develops. They are marked by a flexible approach to the client as well as effective implementation of logistic processes. The importance of logistics standards as factors diversifying competences of suppliers is decreasing in the market under analysis. We may expect a rise in marketing importance for the activity of logistics service providers in the nearest future.
Today the logistics could be an efficient method for increasing the food production and food processing and they could combine all the elements of food production sub-complex into the single chain providing conditions not only for domestic production and consumption of this strategically important products but also provide a great deal of export flows. In our opinion it is logistics that can consolidate separate components of economic mechanism and provide conditions for structural and functional balance and efficient institutional foundations. When operating logistics flows we can develop optimal cause and effect relationship among the elements that would finally create effective system. As a primary step that would enable to achieve a totally new level in logistics for the food production of Ukraine, the new scheme for transformation mechanism of logistics system in food production sub-complex of Ukraine has been suggested. It is based on “virtualization” of material flows among certified food products storehouses.
The EPIC structure allows to know strengths and weaknesses of each part of the world and of several countries in each part. It helps decision-makers, in accordance with their problem, to choose the best option of development and investments. It is a tool to have more information about economy, politics, infrastructure and competence. The goal of the paper is to compare the infrastructure in Poland and France by using of the EPIC approach. Poland is one of very good investment destinations for companies targeting both western and eastern as well as northern and southern parts of Europe. Unfortunately the transportation infrastructure in Poland is still poor if you compare with countries in the Western Europe, even if internationals routes have been developed and modernized. France is a very good investment destination for companies. The French government invests in repairs of the railway, maintenance of all the transports, development of ecological transport and the building of some new roads and new logistics area.
Management of logistics as a subsystem of business management starts to use more comples tools as BSC, ABC and SCORmodel. This paper shows onthe necessity of change the system of company´s managing on process managing what is necessary condition for the above mentioned tools application.

The article considers the problem of an efficient system of agricultural logistics formation that is currently in Ukraine in the process of development. Demand for logistics integration in modern conditions becomes a necessity while further agricultural sector development without implementation of logistic functions becomes ineffective. In the logistics system formation in the agricultural sector purely market institutions for the coordination of relationships are of crucial significance. Government policies can act as a catalyst for the creation of logistic chains. Macrolevel requires state regulation mechanisms for the sustainable use of limited resources and socio-economic development of territories. The negative factors of logistics development in Ukraine are the lack of licensing, available IT-solutions, outdated stocks, poor training of specialists. Thus, in today’s agricultural environment, logistics is a new concept that is undergoing significant changes in short period of time.

Take into account the usability of the beech wood was realized the research in order to specify of conversion factory in ZMG FAMEG factory conditions. The analysis of timber conversion effectiveness of bent furniture elements has been taken consideration.

Podstawą prawną są tu ustalenia zawarte w Ustawie o rachunkowości z listopada 2000 r, a także wciąż aktualne zasady zawarte w zarządzeniach Ministra Finansów z lat 1972,1983 i 1991. W tej części artykułu omówiono takie elementy inwentaryzacji jak ich rodzaje, terminy i częstotliwość.
Logistics is mentioned as a tool for decreasing uncertainty in a business. There are necessary changes within integration of logistics performances, increasing of investment into logistics systems, taking big amount of logistics activities within supply chain, active utilization of information and communication technology and last but not least it is necessary to assure increasing demands for individual products. The most important trends of logistics development lies in more lean supply chains and business processes. A suitable tool seems to be value stream (flow) mapping of activities. This paper deals with the methodology of its application.
The origin of technology was has talked over the technology of automatic identification of objects using radio waves. Currently the RFID technology is one of the most dynamically developing methods of automatic object identification. It is replacing or co-existing with the semi-automatic (the so-called human-assisted) identification, realized on the basis of an optical bar code. The structure of system was introduced tags RFID (also called transponders – micro radio transmitters) are small-size communication elements, in which required information may be recorded. Despite a significant decrease in prices of tags, as well as the other components of the RFID infrastructure, the cost of installation of this system is several times higher than that of the implementation of the bar code technology. In Poland the RFID technology was implemented for the first time in the furniture industry in 2008.
W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono istotę i cele inwentaryzacji oraz zasady ich prowadzenia. Podstawą prawną są tu ustalenia zawarte w Ustawie o rachunkowości z listopada 2000 r, a także wciąż aktualne zasady zawarte w zarządzeniach Ministra Finansów z lat 1972,1983 i 1991. Natomiast w drugiej części artykułu omówiono tryb przeprowadzania inwentaryzacji, a więc: opracowanie planu, powołanie komisji, uporządkowanie zapasów i dokonanie spisu z natury na specjalnych arkuszach.
The article attempts to determine the methodological assumptions for further research on the effectiveness of changes in the organization and logistics of supplies in sugar factories. For this purpose, data were collected on historical ways of organizing transport of sugar beets to various sugar factories. Preliminary analysis of the data shows that the direction of development of the organization and logistics of beet deliveries is towards a process fully organized and supervised by individual sugar producers. This approach allows for better use of existing resources and the development of new directions of the organization processes. All actions taken by the sugar sector are aimed at introducing optimization, acceleration of movement and use of the latest communication techniques in order to reduce effort and time in the organization of the process.
