In her article, the author assesses efficacy of functioning of the Vysegrad Group in the international exchange of the service sector in 2004-2008. There is carried out an analysis of the basic measures of volume of exports and imports, specialisation, participation and internationalisation of foreign trade. After the accession of the Central European countries to the European Union, there has grown importance of the international trade exchange of services, there has occurred intensification of intrasectoral trade and there has changed the structure thereof. The position of the countries in question in trade in services has been formed by growth of internationalisation of one sections and drop of other ones.
