Today the logistics could be an efficient method for increasing the food production and food processing and they could combine all the elements of food production sub-complex into the single chain providing conditions not only for domestic production and consumption of this strategically important products but also provide a great deal of export flows. In our opinion it is logistics that can consolidate separate components of economic mechanism and provide conditions for structural and functional balance and efficient institutional foundations. When operating logistics flows we can develop optimal cause and effect relationship among the elements that would finally create effective system. As a primary step that would enable to achieve a totally new level in logistics for the food production of Ukraine, the new scheme for transformation mechanism of logistics system in food production sub-complex of Ukraine has been suggested. It is based on “virtualization” of material flows among certified food products storehouses.
Within the framework of the research on the issue, we started form the existing functional organizational structures and tax administration systems not only in Slovakia, but also in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia, whereas the fundamental assumption of the investigation was increased efficiency of the system as a whole. On the basis of a trend analysis we assume that the upcoming reform of the tax and customs administration will significantly contribute to an increased efficiency of the system and, eventually, to a positive perception of taxes as socially unpopular obligations.
This article discusses the subject of the efficiency of the transformation of tourism interest defined as arrivals in tourist accommodation establishments into outputs, such as collective tourist accommodation establishments and GDP per inhabitant in the EU countries. For the measurement of efficiency the DEA method was used and the following models were assumed: CCR, BCC, NIRS. As a result was confirmed that significant similarity in the efficiency of the transformation of the inputs above referred to into outputs was only observed in the group of richer countries (GDP > average for the EU) or in the group of poorer countries. The analysis conducted proved that richer countries achieved higher PTE, while poorer countries achieved higher SE.
In order to achieve customer satisfaction enterprises must manage their own value chains and the whole system of providing the value with focusing on customers. The companies´ aim is not only gaining the customers but mainly keeping them. Customer relationship management deals with this issue. How to measure the level of customer relationship management (CRM)? This is the main idea of this paper.
The transferable belief model (TBM) is used to combine the soil information from soil maps and remote sensing information from colour aerial photography in two steps, with respective assumptions about the uncertainty and reliability of data. At a first step, the soil type maps of different scales were analysed for mapping unit purity to derive a soil map with integrated uncertainty information (map₀). In the second step, belief values regarding soil type hypotheses were assigned to pixels derived from airphoto classification. The ’soil type - air photo dass’ combinations were determined according to results from tested area. This new map was combined with map₀ using TBM. Two scenarios for data reliability were studied. The resulting soil type map is depicting spatial variability visible on the airphoto, when data reliability was increased for remote sensing information. The additional values of maximum belief and weight of conflict from the TBM can be integrated into GIS as spatial uncertainty information.
