The economic-political transformation of the Eastem-Central-European countries resulted in important changes, which did not leave untouched the agrarian sector either. In almost all the countries applying for the affiliation to the European Community, the situation of agriculture is a serious problem. The lecture-examining first of all the processes in Hungary - looks for the answer to the question, what kind of alternatives of the technical development of agriculture there are, in what extent the different solutions came to the fore or were ignored in the decade of transition. Beside the solution of the co-operatives, - in a manner of speaking - instead of it, the profit-purposive wage-enterprises with machines, namely a form with features of an enterprise, together with the machinery and farm-aiding club form, which operates on a non-profit basis, and is based on the utilization of mutual benefits, as well as the machinery association connected to the latter one gain ground increasingly. The different forms mean different cost of renounced profit, at the same time, the benefits of their spread are also considerable. These give an extra resource, which ensures the technical-economic development of the enterprises and their closing up to their Westem-European competitors.
This article introduces the transformation process in functional and spatial structure in Ustka. The present spatial structure and land utilization in this town was influenced by numerous historical, cultural and natural conditions. The research shows that transformation processes and development trends observed in small holiday resorts located by the sea result from substituting former economic and service functions by tourist and service functions connected with providing tourist and health protection facilities in holiday and spa centers.
An analysis of rate of changes of bioeconomical value of 50 selected food products, amount of energy and protein purchased in the products for 1 000 zlotys as well as food consumption structure in households at different income level in 1988-1991 was made. The conclusion indicated that relation of bioeconomical values of all food products have been changed but still the cheapest energy source were grain products and fats. The cheapest protein source were grain products, milk and milk products. Average depreciation of bioeconomical value during investigated period of time varied from Tsr=-58.2% to Tsr=—79,8%. Portion of household expenses for food in all groups of households was increasing until 1990. In 1991 the expenditures for food were lower as compared to 1990.
This article presents problems in agrarian transformations, especially related to the number and area structure of farms in Poland before accession into the European Union. It presents consecutive stages of agrarian transformations in the territory of Poland, starting from the period of partitions at the beginning of 20th century, till economic transformation and integration of Poland into the European Union. In historical perspective, it may be stated that there is a close relationship between agrarian transformations, and the level of economic development and socio-political system in our country. These relations are bilateral in nature, i.e. they are interdependent. Agrarian transformations observed after 2004 are evident, however, they did not bring Poland any closer to the level of leading EU Member States.
The effects of unemployment also include consequences for health that are experienced by the unemployed themselves and by their families and in a broader social scale. The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of unemployment on the health condition of the unemployed in the Lublin Region. The study was carried out in 2000-2003 and included 1560 subjects that were the unemployed registered in the Municipal and Provincial Labour Offices in Lublin, Świdnik, Lubartów, Puławy and Kraśnik. The research tool was a questionnaire survey and the research method was a diagnostic sounding.
Zaprezentowano główne problemy planowania rozwoju rolnictwa i obszarów wiejskich na obecnym etapie rozwoju gospodarczego kraju, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Kompleksu gospodarki żyw­nościowej . Duże zróżnicowanie przyrodniczo-ekonomicznych i spo­łecznych warunków rozwoju naszego rolnictwa wymaga zróżnicowane­go potraktowania poszczególnych makroregionów pod względem pot­rzeb w zakresie inwestycji, ochrony środowiska kierunków i tempa przekształceń własnościowych, zmian struktury wielkościowej gospodarstw, kreowania nowych form organizacji różnych typów gospodarstw i przedsiębiorstw rolnych, organizacji i instytucji zaj­mujących się wszechstronną obsługą rolnictwa itp. Regionalizacja polityki rolnej jest jednym z podstawowych warunków przetrwania rolnictwa dzisiaj i jego pomyślnego rozwoju w przyszłości.
